Tek Fintech is my side project for designing and building mobile apps. It is run as a sole proprietorship, and its first app is Gharelu Khata.
About
I am a chartered accountant and lawyer by profession, and I build apps as a hobby. Tek Fintech is where that work lives: I design, build and publish each app myself.
The apps solve small, practical money problems. Gharelu Khata, the first one, replaces the notebook and calendar that many households use to track staff salaries, advances and leave.
Apps
A simple register for the people who work in your home: maids, cooks, drivers, gardeners, security guards, nannies and caregivers. Record leave once and the app works out the pay. Amounts are in rupees, and the app is built around how household staff are actually paid: monthly salary, advances, allowed leaves and festival bonuses.
Set up groups such as Home, Office or Farmhouse, and add each person with a photo, mobile number, notes and start date.
Record leave by date or range. Only the days beyond the monthly allowance reduce the pay.
See days attended, gross pay, advance deduction and net payable, then mark the month paid.
Record an advance, set a monthly deduction and watch the balance come down automatically.
A payment history for every staff member, newest month first, with the full breakdown.
Enter a raise with an effective date, even a past one. Months already paid stay as they were.
Four month-wise reports: spend by group, spend by work type, cash outflow, and salary versus actual paid.
Export everything to one file, and import it on a new phone to carry on.
You can move your data from the Free app to Pro by exporting from one and importing into the other.
